Gaia is remaining with us.
Choosing a future breeding queen is such a big decision, and we kept both Gaia and her sister Galina under consideration until they were 12 weeks old.

Gaia has a lovely, pale fluffy coat, but it is her loving, sweet and affectionate nature that is winning us over.

Love is a very subjective thing, but when choosing one's future queen, there are many things more than love to think about. Like how well Gaia gets along with everyone, which is a very big point in her favour.

We just have to see how the two short-listed girls develop, before we make our final choice. This takes up to the time that they are due to be neutered, around 12 weeks, and will take precedence over the choice of the families, simply because it is such an important process for the future of Wychwood's breeding programme.

We hope that Gaia-Thea will grow and develop into a strong and lovely little girl, perfect for us to keep, but if not, we will be keeping her sister Galina. It is so difficult to gauge who will have the best, lowest earset at this age, for us.
