Baby Belaya at three weeks

Baby Cuddles is our third little girl in the B litter. She is the quietest of them all, and has the same size and paler colour of her sister Pounce. Cuddles is quite happy to lie on her back and allow you to stroke her dear, fat little tummy all day long whilst she purrs away like a little engine. She is mild and calm and an absolute doll:

Cuddles is still on our list of potential choices for future queen because of her fabulously elegant tail. Her fur is not quite as fluffy as her bigger sister of that name, but she is fine-featured and has lovely ears and thoughtful eyes. She has a very well-proportioned face, but how can anyone be expected to make a reasonable choice between these tiny little puffs of fluff?

And to further show how difficult our choice is, here she is again. Cuddles is quietly stealing a special place in our hearts that only those who appreciate a quiet nature will understand. She comes up to the edge of the nest to greet us, and then tries to climb out of it in her eagerness to make friends. This is a good representation of her lovely silver-tipped colour:

I thought that maybe after posting these pictures, I'd be a bit closer to deciding which girl was the best type, but I am assured by other breeders, that often it is only when they are four months and older that you get the best idea of how they will look as adults. I am hoping that we can be a bit quicker in making our choice, if only to help our lovely Wychwood Russian Blue families who are being so understanding about why we are taking such care to choose "just" the right future queen to join Freja in producing those sparkling, special Wychwood kittens that everyone loves so much!
