Breeders
The Malevitch Cattery in Denmark where our foundation queen, Freja, was bred. Thank you Maria for our beautiful girl! She is much admired by all of our visitors!
This is the cattery from which our darling stud boy Eddy hails, in Vienna, Austria. Thank you Claudia for letting us have this beautiful baby, and thank you to her daughter Nicole, for socialising him for us!
This is the home of IW SGC Valnika Silverstone, whose beautiful pictures grace our article about the TICA Breed Standard. Thank you Valarie, for allowing us to share your boy's lovely pictures with our visitors!
Cheeky-Rascal is the Cattery that Freja visited for her C litter mating. Gudrun is a lovely and hospitable lady, who has a lovely home environment with beautiful cats.
We are so grateful to Gudrun for looking after Freja during her visit!
For French visitors: an excellent website about the Main Coon, with scientific articles about the breed and the genetic development of the domestic cat. A real gem, with lovely pictures of Main Coons doing their thing, and lots of fluffy kittens.
Clubs and Organisations
This is the organisation with whom we register the pedigrees of our kittens. On this site you can find a wealth of information about all breeds of cats and household pets, as well as information about care and welfare of cats.
This is the TICA regional club that we belong to. We will be showing our cats at WesTICAt show events in the South West of England.
Shopping
Fiendishly cute collars for adorable cats and kttens, available in three sizes and with the dearest little bells that I have ever seen! Thank you Ren, for finding this wonderful website!
R&L Pet Products ... Because every pet is special
This is the website to find "Ever Clean Clumping Cat Litter" and the wonderfully named: "Urine-Off". Two products that we use and highly recommend.
Owner Information
A really handy website with lots of useful information:
Useful videos showing how to care for cats, including giving a cat a pill, and brushing a cat's teeth.
Wychwood early neuters all of our pet kittens at the age of 12 weeks. Early neutering reduces the likelihood of developing spraying problems later and the recovery time is much quicker, as they have each other for comfort at the vet's, and mummy waiting to nurse them back at home. It means a longer wait to bring your kitten home, but an entirely vet-free first year, and no neutering guilt for you, since we'll be the baddies ;-)
TICA's guidelines on how to spot a healthy, well-socialised kitten before adopting, the questions to ask responsible breeders, and other such gems of kitten-buying wisdom.
This is an American D.I.Y. page which shows how to adapt a wooden garden fence into a cat-proof fence. It will not keep visiting cats out, but it will keep your cats safely in.
Kitten sound therapy. We use these sounds to train our kittens to be calm and relaxed with anything that the world can throw at them! Thanks to our friend Michele Vischi in Italy for this usesful series of unsettling noises.
